The Hillsboro SophistiCats , Hillsboro's show choir is internationally recognized as one of the finest choirs in the country. The musical troupe has traveled throughout the United States and Europe where they perform pop, country and classical selections. Hillsboro's orchestra and SophistiCats show choir will perform at Cheekwood's Trees of Christmas on Sunday, Dec. 4, between 2:00 and 4:30 p.m. Each student performer will receive complimentary family passes for the event.
The annual holiday tradition, SophistiCats N' Cider, is set for December 10, at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for students. The SophistiCats will perform "Songs of The Season," and the Mixed Chorus students will perform during the SophistiCats' costume change midway through the show. Homemade desserts, hot coffee and spiced cider will be served after the performance.
