We in culinary arts have a club through Skills-USA. We offer opportunities to learn
about the culinary world through guest speakers, field trips to fun food happenings and learn
all about the scholarship opportunities through this wonderful club. Students can advance in
their professionalism to be ready for the workforce when they finish high school. Many colleges
have the Skills-USA club as part of their curriculum and many employers prefer to hire
students with the knowledge and background that this club offers them.
Young Life meets on Monday nights at 7:30 at the corner of 12 th and Kirkwood ,
above the Popsicle store. Also, we will be taking a trip to Windy Gap in Weaverville , NC
from June 9-16 th . Anyone is welcome to join us!!
